Privacy Policy

This document explains what data is collected on this website, what it is used for, and what rights you have over it. The data is handled by Aleksandr Kovalenko (tax number 024700592850), who acts as the data controller.

1. What data is collected

1. Your email address. You give it yourself when paying. Everything you buy is tied to it, and the letter with the access is sent to it.
2. What you have bought and what is open to you. The login and the password to your library, the list of products you own, and the progress you make inside the course.
3. Technical data of the visit. The IP address, the type of device and browser, the language, the page you came from, and the pages you opened. It is used in an aggregated form.
4. Letters and messages. The text of what you write to us, if you write — so that we can answer and find the conversation later.

Card details never reach this site and are never stored here. The payment is made on the page of the payment provider, which is the only party that sees the card number and the security code.

2. What the data is used for

1. To give you access to what you bought, and to keep it working.
2. To send the letter with the login and the password, and to answer your questions.
3. To understand how the site is used: which pages people read, where they stop, where something breaks.
4. To meet legal and accounting obligations relating to the payment.

The data is not sold and is not passed to anyone for advertising.

3. Who else sees the data

1. The payment provider — to take the payment and issue the receipt.
2. The email provider — to deliver the letter with your access.
3. Web analytics — to count visits and see how the pages are used.

Each of them receives only what is needed for its own task, and no more.

4. Cookies

1. The site uses cookies to keep you signed in to your library, so that the password is not asked for on every page.
2. Analytics cookies count visits without identifying you as a person.
3. Cookies can be disabled in your browser. Signing in to the library will then stop working — that is the only thing that needs them.

5. How long the data is kept

1. The account and the purchase are kept for as long as your access to the products lasts — that access has no time limit.
2. Technical logs are kept for a limited period and are then deleted.
3. You can ask for your data to be deleted — see section 6.

6. Your rights

1. To know what data we hold about you.
2. To have it corrected if it is wrong — for example a mistake in the email address.
3. To have it deleted, and the account with it.
4. To receive a copy of your data in a readable file.

To use any of these rights, write to dao.shen.master@gmail.com from the address the purchase is registered on. We answer within thirty days.

⛔ Deleting the account also removes the access to everything bought with it. That cannot be undone, so we ask once whether you are sure.

7. How the data is protected

1. The site works over an encrypted HTTPS connection.
2. The password to the library is stored as a hash, and the files of the books are given out only to an account that has paid for them.
3. The number of sign-in attempts is limited, so that a password cannot be guessed by trying one address after another.

8. Changes to this policy

1. The policy may change. The current version is always the one on this page.
2. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
